Tica Seaspirit SS348R/C Line Counter Overhead Reel

I haven't yet used it but it looks very well built. Despite the use of light weight graphite and aluminum on the outside, the weight is substantial, at over a pound for the 248 size. The non handle side plate can be be removed by simply unscrewing the forged aluminum nut. In side you'll find all metal level wind gears, and driving the forged aluminum spool is a brass main gear, and a stainless steel pinion gear. The 5 + 1 bearing count makes this reel feel pretty smooth, and the 5.1:1 gearing delivers a very respectable 29.5 inches of line per handle crank. The star drag adjust with a satisfying click and that drag feels nice and smooth, although maxing out at only 11 lbs. of drag pressure. The large knob rides smoothly on the beefy aluminum power style handle, which by the way, is adjustable to either of two positions. The stainless steel reel foot is securely attached to the graphite frame using 4 strong rivets. For the price, it is an excellent reel, offering features that you would normally expect from a reel in a higher price bracket.

Anyone who doesn't have a tica before should buy one its strong ,durable ,accurate line counter , has a smooth drag for fighting big fish and has enough line capacity I am so glad that I own them I strongly recommend them for anyone
