I was surprised by the quality of the reel. For the price, this is not some trashy reel. It's really good quality. Feels solid, gr3at drag tick. Really worth the money. Delivery had a slight delay, but thats NZ post being NZ post.

Great reel for the price, a delay in delivery but arrived in good condition. I havent used it yet but as stated in another review, i can feel that the drag is sticky, but other than that works as it should and is great for the price.

Purchased for kayak softbait and slow jigging.
It has great line capacity and drag for such a tiny and light reel.
Its only short coming is the low level of water protection. It only has a seal on the drag stack. I have added grease behind the handle attach point to improve water resistance at the handle entry. For its light weight, this is the best fish fighting reel I can find. It also casts so well. Im very happy with the purchase. For reference its about the size of a 3000 reel but the line capacity and drag are impressive.
This is a great softbait reel for boaters and kayak users.

Awesome reel, butter smooth & powerful drag.

I've owned this for a few months now, but only manage to use it once so far. It performed well when I used it though, and I managed to land a nice pannie snapper on a kabura type lure. I found it comfortable and ergonomic to use, and I liked the oversize handle. It's smooth to wind, and the 7.3:1 ratio makes it really fast to retrieve your lure. I found a couple of down sides to the reel, which is the drag is a bit uneven at light setting. It seems to get better when you increase the drag however. The fish I caught didn't take much line so I didn't get to test the drag under pressure. I'm thinking it will improve once it beds in after some more use. The other downside is that there is a small metal plate in front of the spool (attached to the reel casing) I found the line could get caught between the edge of the plate and the reel casing when the line overruns after the lure hits the bottom. If I was thumbing the spool while the lure was dropping it wasn't as bad, but when I was trying to get the lure to the bottom as fast as possible it happened occasionally of I wasn't quick enough to stop the spool. I think if I fill the small gaps at the side of the plate with some resin, I'll be able to prevent it happening.

I took the reel apart yesterday to have a look inside. There's a lot going on in there, but it seems to be reasonably decent quality. I gave the drag washer a light coating of lube as recommended by the seller, to help make the drag a bit smoother.

Overall, I think this is a really good reel for the price, and I would recommend it as a good budget slow jigging option. To get something similar from Penn or Shimano, you'll be paying at least 2-3 times the price.

I'm looking forward to using the reel a bit more, and putting it to the test on some bigger fish.

I have both the Titenclaw and Uzio models – in terms of line capacity and drag capabilities the reel packs heaps of grunt. The gear ratio is really good. Handle is really comfortable – I have pretty big hands and I feel the handle has a good fit. Line retrieve guide is smooth. The only problem I have is the reel foot is slightly narrower than other brands – and does not seat well in certain rods reel seats – if it was made a little broader it would seat better in most rods
