The TICA X-JIGGER is a high-speed jigging reel engineered for consistent performance and long-term use. Developed as a follow-up to the TITANCLAW TC300, it maintains the same focus on durability, smooth operation, and quality construction.
Field-tested in New Zealand, the X-JIGGER has proven effective for catching snapper and kingfish using stickbaits and sliders. It’s also used across Southeast Asia and Europe for targeting strong game fish with heavy lures.
This compact, ergonomic reel offers a comfortable grip, with a deep spool that accommodates up to 300 meters of 40lb PREMIUM X8 (0.31mm). The body is made from a GR composite material, known for its strength and resistance to wear.
A multi-stage lever drag system allows one-handed operation, delivering consistent and smooth drag control throughout the fight.

I've owned this for a few months now, but only manage to use it once so far. It performed well when I used it though, and I managed to land a nice pannie snapper on a kabura type lure. I found it comfortable and ergonomic to use, and I liked the oversize handle. It's smooth to wind, and the 7.3:1 ratio makes it really fast to retrieve your lure. I found a couple of down sides to the reel, which is the drag is a bit uneven at light setting. It seems to get better when you increase the drag however. The fish I caught didn't take much line so I didn't get to test the drag under pressure. I'm thinking it will improve once it beds in after some more use. The other downside is that there is a small metal plate in front of the spool (attached to the reel casing) I found the line could get caught between the edge of the plate and the reel casing when the line overruns after the lure hits the bottom. If I was thumbing the spool while the lure was dropping it wasn't as bad, but when I was trying to get the lure to the bottom as fast as possible it happened occasionally of I wasn't quick enough to stop the spool. I think if I fill the small gaps at the side of the plate with some resin, I'll be able to prevent it happening.
I took the reel apart yesterday to have a look inside. There's a lot going on in there, but it seems to be reasonably decent quality. I gave the drag washer a light coating of lube as recommended by the seller, to help make the drag a bit smoother.
Overall, I think this is a really good reel for the price, and I would recommend it as a good budget slow jigging option. To get something similar from Penn or Shimano, you'll be paying at least 2-3 times the price.

I'm looking forward to using the reel a bit more, and putting it to the test on some bigger fish.

Great reel for the price, a delay in delivery but arrived in good condition. I havent used it yet but as stated in another review, i can feel that the drag is sticky, but other than that works as it should and is great for the price.
